Goodreads asked Damian S. Simankowicz:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Damian S. Simankowicz I have the opposite problem. I’ve got folders of stories with notes and sketches that I’ve built up over the years. And I’m always trying to play catch up with what I’ve already started. For example, this year I have a new book out for Sage Escape (Transhuman) and the first books out for Sleeping With Ghosts and Ravage. All of those stories I came up with many years ago. I work in graphic novels, and it is a very time consuming process converting your ideas into detailed artwork. Especially for Sage Escape, which is a space opera with a ridiculous amount of locations, characters and technology. And I’ve been doing the pencils, inks and colors myself on that series. Luckily I got to work with some great artists on Ravage and Sleeping With Ghosts, so I could just focus on the writing and producing for those titles. Which was a wonderful experience.
