How did you decide you wanted to become an author? And where do you get your inspiration from? I've read almost 8 of your books (currently reading Most Likely To Die) and have ordered 2 more, and I just can't put them down; there's so much passion in your writing, even in the goriest scenes! Thank you for your amazing books!

Over thirty-five years ago my sister, author Nancy Bush suggested we write romance novels. She’d read an article in Time Magazine about young mothers who had created their own careers doing just that. I thought she was crazy, but we decided to give it a whirl with another friend and wrote a book that went nowhere. But Nan and I were bitten by the writing bug an we kept at it. Within a year she sold her first book, a teen romance and about another year after that I sold A Twist Of Fate to Silhouette Books. After that, we kept at it and eventually started writing romantic suspense novels for Kensington. These are my favorite kind of books, so I’m in heaven. My inspiration comes from something I hear, something I read, something I see on TV, a germ of an idea that I expand, if possible. Thanks for asking and thanks for reading!

Hi Lisa! I don't have any questions for you, but just wanted to tell you that you are one of my favourite writers (not many writers have managed to grab me like you have). You are right at the top top of my list along with Chris Carter, Cody McFadyen, Chelsea Cain, Lisa Garnder, Tess Gerritsen and Karen Slaughter. Thank you for keeping me spellbound xx You cannot write them fast enough.... :-) ?
