I love New Orleans, and any books that is based there. I spent my teenage years(Algiers, on the Westbank,) until I reached my early 20's and then back there for my late 20's and early 30's. My question is what is your favorite part of New Orleans?

I've visited New Orleans often though it's been a while since I've been in the Big Easy. Of course I love the French Quarter and the Garden District, and I really enjoy walking along the Mississippi River which is so different from our major waterway, the Columbia River here in the Pacific Northwest. The appeal of New Orleans, to me is the difference in the history, culture and city itself to what I'm used to in Oregon. It's a fascinating city!
