Hi Allison (and readers!) Does anyone know how old Maxine is supposed to be? I'm reading Maximum Exposure right now and I'm having a hard time figuring out her age. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Sabrina: I'm so sorry I just saw this questions! I'm usually much faster when I respond.
In NOTORIOUS, the first Maxine Revere book, she's 31. Maximum Exposure takes place about 2 years before NOTORIOUS, so she would be 29. I don't think I mentioned her age specifically. Now, in SHATTERED (that just came out) she's 32. Sorry for being so vague!

I have a friend that picked up a few of your books without knowing it was a series. (of course she grabbed #7 and 8 I think) Are your books able to be read in any order or is it best to read in the actual order? I only ask because although it is a series some are sometimes okay as stand-alone novels as well. Input would be great - Thanks!
