What's happening with the Moreno and Hart series? Has it been abandoned?

Hi Elaine:
No! It has not been abandoned. Laura and I are working on the third book this summer. Right now, we tentatively have a Christmas novella that will be out early December 2015 and LOST AND FOUND, the third book in the series, will be out January 2016. A little later than we wanted, but we have to schedule it around our other publications so there is no overlap. Thank you for asking! We're very excited. We hope that the novella will be a fun story of mystery and murder, and the third book will resolve the over-arching mystery of what happened to Scarlet and Krista when they were in LAPD.

I've been binged reading your Lucy Kincaid series and now I'm anxiously waiting for Too Far Gone. However, I've managed to get lost with the family tree and who has children. I already know about Justin and Sean's son, but I know there has been a few more born during the series. Can you refresh my memory and tell me the siblings and their spouses who are now parents?

I recently completed the final book in the Max Revere series, and I must admit I feel a sense of sadness knowing there won't be any more stories to look forward to. I sincerely hope your publisher considers the possibility of continuing this beloved series. Do you think this is a possibility are is this just wishful thinking on my end?!?!
