R. Cooper:
Not a question but comment: I really love the universe you have created with your Being(s) in Love series. I look forward to hopefully reading more of it. I just had to tell you about this trailer I saw for a new movie called 'Bright'. It reminded me of your BiL universe! I can't wait to read your next book! Maybe one about a pixie?

Ha, funnily enough, I just posted something about the pixies yesterday. A segment of an article on pixies that might exist within the beings universe:
Pixies: a variety of being best classified as “elf” in the hodgepodge category as created by humans to define magical beings across many cultures with vaguely similar powers and capabilities. Unlike most “elves” pixies have the ability to “shift” their physical form. (See term shift:beings.) Pixies are capable of blending in with, and passing as, humans. Their ever-changing physical appearance has given them a reputation as tricksters. Indeed, some historians now claim some trickster figures in human history and mythology could be pixy (Jones, 2011). It should be noted that pixies are not the only being species to change gender/sex/appearance at will, and there is no reason to assume that the “unfairly broad” category of elf does not also contain other beings who may have been mistaken for trickster figures or deities. Humans are easily mislead, and just because an elf might see the right direction or know what needs to be done, doesn’t obligate them to tell that to any human who asks (Mackenzie, 2017).
Because of their changing appearance and desire to remain hidden from judgmental humans, it is believed that the number of recorded pixies is considerably lower than the actual pixy population. In recent years, that has changed. A growing segment of the pixy population have begun to espouse openness and pride in their identity. A movement that owes much to human trans and genderqueer activism, according to leading beings rights figure, T. Kirkpatrick (2011).
aaah anyway. Of course there will be more beings. I had plans for them, although unfortunately, life got in the way of those plans. I am going to finish my current project, maaaaybe do a short thing, and then get back to my poor suffering beings. And in the meantime, you get another beings book in the fall. :)
(And I know! Bright looks so amazing! I'm excited!)
