R. Cooper:
Okay, so, not a question really, but I love your stories and especially your stories with dragons. They make me so happy and each one I read gives a small kernel of hope that helps me along. Now a question, not sure if you already answered this, but who was your favorite couple you have written about so far?
R. Cooper
The dragons are the warm center of the beings universe, no joke (though small pun definitely intended).
Um, I wouldn't say I have a favorite couple. There are certain couples it's easier to write about because the character voice is more fun to play with, or certain couples I can fit into other universes with more ease than other couples. I've got extreme fondness for Cal and Ray Ray, as the first, but Bertie and Arthur are go-tos for ridiculous levels of softness and caring. Little Wolf was a pain to write for a lot of reasons, but I still enjoy visiting with him and Nathaniel from time to time.
I think it really just depends on my mood which couple I would think about or revisit. A friend recently had to reread A Giant Among Men because she was really really in the mood for Tank/Simon, specifically how Tank adores Simon. (Airplanes!)
Okay, in truth, as much as I love fluffy Zarrin and grumpy Joe, or like to think about Martin and Ian meeting in some happy universe where Martin was adopted by Alice and Addy at an early age, if I need to comfort myself, my usual couple is still Arthur and Bertie. I wrote that book when I desperately needed comfort and it still works for that.
This is me answering/not answering your question. :P
