Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

R. Cooper Of my fictional couples, or just in general? (And then the fandom person in me wonders if you mean canon couples or fanon couples.) My fav pairings to watch or read about tend to loosely follow certain types, though sometimes in different forms. Generally a mouthy or flirty one and a gruffer one, with variations.

Canon fictional couples is difficult to say, because most of them are het because well, queer people don't tend to happy endings (in fiction). I love Gomez and Morticia Addams. I love pretty much all the versions of Athos/Milady ever (they are a fucked up couple, but I love them despite, or because of, that). I love screwball comedies and how the set up is almost always a fast moving fast talker who knows the real world, versus a geeky or uptight dude who is adorable.

Fav fictional couple? Oh goodness. (I will assume this means couples who are not a couple in the canon. Like, fanfic couples.) At the moment? I love Dex and Nursey (sometimes with a Chowder), Jack and Bitty, Keith and Lance (Yuuri and Victor). But also Marcus and Esca always. Sterek always (if you ignore most of the actual shit show). Aaaand honestly a whole host of others. I have been in fandom for a very long time.

Now. If you mean my characters.... well I shouldn't pick favorites. But. You know. There is a special place for Will and Charlie in my heart. (And you can stick them into pretty much any screwball comedy and do just fine. :P )
