What I have loved most about your books is your incredible ability to convey the various facets AND difficulties of love. Many times I found that single lines or moments were very impactful (tears were involved), so my question to you is: of your five books so far, do you have any lines or moments that you're particularly fond of?

Taylor Jenkins Reid Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. I work hard in the hopes of putting forth sentences or ideas that stick with people.

I usually have a few favorites in every book. Evelyn made it easy to really say a lot with very little because she's supposed to be an icon and so her words carry weight. One of my favorite lines she says is, "Never let anyone make you feel ordinary." I stand by that one!

For Maybe in Another Life, how many cinnamon rolls did you eat; did that influence how many times she was craving them again? I loved the ambiguous-ness of the novel which left us to decide if there was a 'real' story, or just to chose which we prefer. It made an amazing book club pick. We debated which plot line played out better in which world. Was it hard to write one version at times bc you liked the other?
