I suppose the most obvious answer is that I'd want to spend a little bit of time as Evelyn but to be perfectly honest, I don't think I have the backbone for it. I'm not nearly as hard-edged as she is. I'd screw it all up.
I'll go with Harry Cameron, maybe in the 70s when things were set up very nicely for him and Evelyn. I'd have fun as a Hollywood producer during that time.

I just ordered Evelyn Hugo to read on the beach in a few weeks. I always tell myself, "Buy Ms. Reid's books and wait to read them." Then I read them and think, "Why did I wait so long?!" I realize that a new book has just come out, do you have something else that you're writing? When can we expect that?
