Jane Ono
Jane Ono asked Charlaine Harris:

Does it bother you that television or movie adaptations are so different from your books? How much control do you have when your work is adapted?

Charlaine Harris I have made my peace with that. The needs of television are very different from those of books, and a television writer has to bow to that necessity. I don't have control at all. But the book sales go up if the series is popular, and that's my goal. I'm all about the books.
