Ginger Voight The best part of being a writer is having your characters surprise you. When you develop an outline or craft the story, there are a bunch of little details yet to discover, details that only your characters can show you. As the picture fills in, it becomes oh so much more than you thought it would be. That anyone else wants to come along for the ride, reading every book and sharing their love with you unabashed, equally surprised and delighted by what you find, is the big ol' cherry on top of it.
