The setting of The Broken Girls is going to be quite the departure from interwar England. Since the way you capture that period is one of my favorite things about your books, I'm curious if you'll return to it - will we see more of England between the wars, or do you think you'll stick to exploring new settings and eras? Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to The Broken Girls!

I go where my creativity takes me - so never say never! After five books in that setting, I wanted to take a trip somewhere else for a while. I'm not sure where the next book will go :)

Hi, just discovered your writing and enjoying it very much! Hard to put your stories down, I need to learn to savour the moment! Not every author likes to write sequels, but you have a wonderful way with character/relationship development that leaves the reader wanting more - Jillian and Inspector Drew being a good example. As an author, what's your approach to sequels?
