I just finished The Broken Girls and it was AWESOME.why some character including deb's ghost says that you shouldn't let mary hand come in, when in person mary always said/done something personal to particular character. mary never actually says it unless some random girl mentioning it in her story telling.why is that?

First of all I just want to say I love your novels! I can't put them down...you have become my favorite author. I live in Stratford and it's great that my favorite author is Canandian!!! I just would like to know why you write the books set in London England...I love that they are set back in the early 1900's, and ghost stories, that's what made me fall in love with them, but why not based here???
