In Fangirl, Levi and Reagan are from Arnold Nebraska. I must know, why Arnold Nebraska? Population 500ish and decreasing? I have family there, have visited there, and agree whole heartedly with the book's description. Haha. It's just so obscure! And therefore kinda awesome to me.

Rainbow Rowell I'm from Nebraska, and when I was writing the book, I went on Facebook, describing the sort of place that I wanted Levi to be from. Someone made the pitch for Arnold, and I went with it!
