For years, I have been waiting for modern science to develop the "sandwich book," so that my favorite sandwich could be a book, and I could read it then eat it. Think of it, Helen — consumption of a story for both mind and body. The soul would rejoice! Perhaps Stephen King's CUJO spelled out on turkey and provolone with pickles, mayo, stone ground mustard, lettuce and jalapeño on a fresh dutch crunch.
To properly enjoy tasty fiction of such caliber, one would need to follow that up with a summer afternoon nap. Then, the world would still, and the summation of all existence would take up residence in my belly.
