I listened to the Audio podcast of The Crypt twice. Last update for the rest was 2016. Any update on when the rest will drop? BTW, I've just begun the "INFECTED" series for my third time.

I've quickly become a HUGE fan. I read Ancestor in 2 days (I was obsessed with this story and couldn't get enough)...I'm getting ready to be done with Pandemic, closing out the Infected trilogy. What of yours would you recommend next?

Huge fan, Mr. Sigler. But something as been bothering me since "Infected:" Perry Dawson was going to go #1 overall before his injury? An Off-The-Ball Linebacker? It hasn't happened since...Aundray Bruce, I think...and that was still in an era where a run-stopping linebacker had value. Frankly, I think you're just looking at him through Maize-Colored glasses.

Hey Scott, can you give us an update on when GFL VII might drop? Maybe a title, a release date? When can we expect to see the return of Quentin Barnes?

Scott Sigler Hi Mitchell. So sorry for this long delay, I wasn't seeing these questions for some reason. GFL VII will be out in late 2024 or early- to mid-2025. I haven't revealed the name yet, as sometimes I think the names are spoilers for newer readers still progressing through the series.

Are you still going to make books seven and eight of the gfl series or has covid stopped you. I have read all of your gfl books and they are legit my favorite books. If you do make 7 and 8 will they be hardcover?

Scott Sigler We will make all the GFL books hardcover. It's getting more difficult for us to do that, but we're sticking with it.

No, I'm not doing eight GFL books -- there will be nine.

Scott Sigler I don't really know of any books similar to the GFL. There are some fun sports-related scifi books out there, but the authors tend to make up a game, or games, plural, and frequently it's more like an olympics of invented contests than a story centered around a specific sport.

I just finished your story in Unfettered II: "Victim with a capital V" and I was wondering have you written any books continuing the story? The concept is amazing, and engaging. I'm sure it helps that I like in Oakland and work in San Francisco.

I saw a question on here, through a google search, mentioning GFL book VII. But, I cannot find it. How close are we? And thanks for those stories! I have read/listened to them at least 10 times through!

And also I would like to say I think its cool you added Poughkeepsie Pete in the books. I live in Poughkeepsie so it is nice to hear my hometown named. Also, I would like to say your GFL books are awesome and I love reading and re-reading them. -Zeno

Scott Sigler Hi Zeno! There will be a GFL Book VII, expect it out in late 2024 or early 2025.

Hi Scott! I just finished Aliens: Phalanx and I loved it. One of the very best stories in the massive Alien/Aliens franchise. Will we get to see a sequel to Aliens: Phalanx? I really want to now what happens next :-)

Scott Sigler You won't see a novel-length sequel.

However, I have a story in the anthology AVP: ULTIMATE PREY that shows what happens some eighteen years later. It's not a full banquet of a sequel, but it's a wonderful snack.

Mr, Sigler, I found you a long time ago and certainly enjoyed your work back then. Frist off, thank you so much for presenting such wonderful stories to us. However, you have simply outdone yourself with Aliens: Phalanx. I understand that you are a fan that had many ideas and directions you might have went with and Alien book. I know you have other stories. Will we get to ever see those? I HOPE! Thank you!

Will there be another book in the Nocturnal series? It's one of my favourite books and would love to see the characters have some new adventures :)

Scott Sigler I have several planned, but it's a question of when I can get to them, We have the next three books in process: GF Book VII, THE CRYPR Books I & II. That will cover me for the next year.

I just finished Alone, and man, this trilogy was amazing. Hands down one of the best trilogies/books I've ever read. What was your inspiration for naming the Xolotol and the Ximbal? (Forgive my spelling.)

Scott Sigler I'm so happy you enjoyed the trilogy. The naming nomenclature comes from the religion that began the mission in the first place. It ties into my Galactic Football League series and the larger Siglerverse, but I haven't revealed those connections yet. In short, a powerful person creates their own religion in order to amass wealth and power. Elements of that religion are drawn from ancient cultures, including Aztec and Mayan cultures.

Simply want to say, Fitz Roy is AWESOME! Loved Earth Core, but this one is even better! Well done! Also dig the GFL series... Are there more to follow for both of these series?

Scott Sigler GFL Book VII should be out in 2022, and Book VIII, the final book, in 2023-2024. THE STONE WOLVES, a GFL novel, will be out later in 2021. As for the Sun Symbol Series, I'm not sure if there will be a third to follow on MOUNT Fitz Roy.

Where does Ancestor fall in the timeline of your world?

They day my modern-day thrillers are published is the day each story begins, for the most part, which means ANCESTOR takes place in 2010 of the Siglerverse. If it helps, here's the Siglerverse reading order:

Hi Scott.. any idea on whether you will do a sequel to the Crypt?

Scott Sigler Hey, Gavin! I start on THE CRYPT in a couple of weeks, after I do the audiobooks for THE GANGSTER (GFL Book VI) and THE STONE WOLVES (a GFL novel). We're really looking forward to bringing y'all CRYPT Book I and Book II. There will be changes to what you heard before, a lot of the same stuff but with new content, and the old stuff moved around for a more logical narrative flow.
