I am reading this book now. I am impressed by the apparent answers to many of the digestive problems that plague me! However, many questions I seek are not found in the text. For instance: Do the implied cures of Lupus say that most Auto Immune Diseases can be cured with the diet? What about Alopecia? Is there a pre-packaged "Green Smoothie" product on the market. Is avoiding Lectin the the key to success?

I disagree with Ken.

I wasn't a huge fan of this book, the same as I feel for almost every diet book, but the author is pretty anti paleo and T Colin Campbell seems to miss that point as evidenced in his quote detailing what he thinks an average reader will take away from the book "Aha, perhaps something is wrong with all that whole grain, vegetable nonsense after all! I like this. I knew that there was a reason why I never liked veggies and why I should, instead, be eating grass-fed meat! This book is for me!"

T Colin Campbell is quite biased towards vegetarianism and never toes the party line. I haven't found a good representative of the vegetarian camp, but I imagine there have got to be better than him so I'd take his rebuttal with a bucket of salt.

I'd suggest you do a trial of a low lectin diet and see how you do. If you do better it works, if not it doesn't

I'd stay away from prepackaged things until you've at least tried a whole foods only diet. Most prepackaged things contain nasty chemicals that can cause problems that may be misattributed to the diet(less)
