Hi!! with immoral you became one of my favorite authors of all time <3 I hated so much Rachel! OMG I can't even describe my feelings for her... and I admire so much that; because it says that you're an amazing writer who knows how to make people hate and also love characters... so do you inspired on someone to create Rachel? I can't forget her even when has been 5 years since I've read the book!

Thank you so much, Linda! I really appreciate the kind words. Yes, Rachel is a singularly despicable young woman, isn't she? But I have to confess, the bad characters are often the most fun to write. She wasn't based on any real person (thank heavens!), but I imagined someone with a difficult background who understood the power she could wield over men -- and who was soulless enough to pursue what she wanted without regard to the consequences. I don't like to write about super-heroes or super-villains...just real people who often take their behavior to extremes. And that's Rachel!

Hi Brian
I love the Jonathan Stride series. I might visit Duluth next month (mostly because of your books). I remember Stride falling off a bridge in one of the books, but forget which one. The Aerial Lift Bridge is mentioned a lot, but I don't think it's the one he fell off. So here's my question(s): In which book does Stride fall off of a bridge? Which bridge is it? Is it a real bridge or fictional?
Thanks,
Kevin
