Brian Freeman Yes, I know it's long overdue! Publishers have been keeping me busy with a lot of other commitments. But a new Bourne book coming next month and a new stand-alone called PHOTOGRAPH in stores in October!
Brian Freeman So glad you've discovered my books, Judy! You've got lots of novels ahead of you. When I took over the Bourne series, I "re-booted" it from ground up, so you don't need to have read anything that came before. You can truly dive in on my Bourne books anywhere, although once you've read one, I think you'll want to read them all! :-)
Brian Freeman Thanks, Michael! I really appreciate your note. Yes, THE URSULINA may be my personal favorite of everything I've written. Although in some ways I think of THE DEEP, DEEP SNOW and THE URSULINA together as one creative project (regardless of how different they are). Happy reading!
Brian Freeman Thanks, Vicki! I'm so glad you're enjoying the Stride series. It will take me just a little while to get back to the next one, as I'm a little over-committed right now. But I haven't forgotten him!

In the meantime, be sure to check out some of my other audiobooks, too. THE DEEP, DEEP SNOW and THE URSULINA (with narration by January LaVoy) are two of my own favorites.

Happy listening!
Brian Freeman Yes, I love that ending! It's taking me much longer than I hoped to get back to Frost (and Tabby) -- but I haven't forgotten them! And meanwhile, Lombard seems to be running San Francisco into the ground at this point....I feel guilty! :-)
Brian Freeman Oh, never fear, I haven't forgotten about Stride!
Brian Freeman Have you read THE URSULINA? That's the follow-up novel to THE DEEP, DEEP SNOW. Both are among my all-time personal favorites.
This question contains spoilers... (view spoiler)
Brian Freeman I'm still thinking about that, Carol! On one hand, I'd love to meet Shelby again (as well as Rebecca Colder from THE URSULINA). On the other hand, the second book ends with such emotional closure for both characters that it somehow feels wrong to open up their lives for something new. But I never say never...we shall see! :-)
Brian Freeman I'm a little torn about that, Rob. I assume you've read the follow-up book, THE URSULINA, right? That book provides such an emotional closure to Shelby's story that I'm a little reluctant to mess with it. On the other hand, I'd love to meet the characters of Shelby and Rebecca again. So we shall see...watch this space! :-)
Brian Freeman Hey, thanks, Carleen...so glad you're enjoying my books! Have you read the new Stride novel yet -- THE ZERO NIGHT...? I think you'll love it!

But unless you went to high school in California, I don't think you're remembering me! :-)
Brian Freeman Did you read THE URSULINA, Brenda? That's the follow-up book to THE DEEP, DEEP SNOW...!
Brian Freeman "Play Spock to her Kirk"! Sure, Justin, always been a Star Trek fan. I'm disappointed that they seem to have given up on the most recent movie re-boot.
Brian Freeman I know...me too! Alas, my publisher has been doing so well with stand-alones that they've had me focused on those, rather than on the Frost series. So it's taking me a long time to get back to him! :-(
Brian Freeman Thanks, Christie! I'm so glad you enjoyed SPILLED BLOOD. That book won the Thriller Award for best novel...one of the great moments of my career! No plans right now for a movie version, although you're right, it would be fantastic on the big screen. But Universal has optioned the film rights to my book INFINITE...!
Brian Freeman Thanks, Heidi! I know it's taking me longer than I'd like to get back to Frost -- but never fear, I haven't forgotten him! (I left him in dire straits at the end of THE CROOKED STREET...!) :-)
Brian Freeman It's taking me a while to get back to Cab...but keep reading the Stride series, and when you reach ALTER EGO, you might meet someone you know! :-)
Brian Freeman Thanks! So glad you're enjoying my books. It's taking me a while to get back to Frost with all of my other commitments -- but never fear, I haven't forgotten him! :-)
Brian Freeman Ha, sorry, no...yes, Universal has taken the rights to INFINITE, but we're still in the early stages of development. There IS a new movie by that name coming out, but it's not the same project. What are the odds, right?? :-)
