I just finished Break Every Rule a few weeks ago- my first book of '25! I'm a first time reader of your books. I know your newest Jason Bourne book just released. Exciting! Question: If I've only seen the Borne movies, NEVER read a single Bourne book (sorry) can I read this new one as a standalone and first? Thanks so much!

Brian Freeman So glad you've discovered my books, Judy! You've got lots of novels ahead of you. When I took over the Bourne series, I "re-booted" it from ground up, so you don't need to have read anything that came before. You can truly dive in on my Bourne books anywhere, although once you've read one, I think you'll want to read them all! :-)

First, thank you so much for answering. I loved Shelby and the whole town. Since I became ill and had to give up teaching, my reading has become all the more important. I have Sjogren's Syndrome, which also affects short term memory. Some books just don't grab my interest and I read the same page over and over. Not so with Deep.. Thank you for renewing my love of reading. I'm going to begin TRF now!?!
