For Micah, why did you change the perception of him so dramatically and extreme? He was the good guy that went along with what Anita wanted and needed. Now he seems to be a sort of wanna be cult leader. He gets people to join the coalition through 3 ways: willingly joining, fighting to the death, sex with him/others. When did this happen? How did Anita not know? Why’d she let the subject go?

(view spoiler)[I didn't realize that people were assuming this about Micah and the Coalition for a few books. Like you say, he was a good guy and went along with what Anita wanted and needed, so I guess I thought the readers would understand that meant he wasn't being a villain about Coalition business. When I realized that some readers were missing that I stated it on paper in the novel, Affliction that the Coalition only goes into another wereanimal territory if they are asked by the animal group, the police, the local government, or to stop a war between groups. I also stated that Micah puts his life on the line to stop those wars and keep people safe. (hide spoiler)]

Was it always your intention to inject highly charged pornographic eroticism in the books (I don't mean as an insult), or did that just happen as an unintended consequence of book after book of plotlines (Harder time enjoying Narcissus in Chains, as a result of the focus on sex rather than story)? I was in it for the action, and the story. But now it seems just sex focused. Quality of writing hasn't lessened mind you.

Would you consider having an Anita Blake book with her ex-fiancé being present? Maybe introduce him in trouble and Anita needing to save him? Or maybe have him as a marshall and them having to work together? I don’t want them back together I just want her fiancé to be seen/ hopefully intimated/threatened by EDWARD/Anita’s men/Zebrowski and Dolph…. Just so we can get a whole picture of the jerk…
