What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Sheila Rae Myers I don't think there have been any mysteries in my life that would make a serious novel. The plot would have to be nearly a comedy and revolve around small items that come up missing in my house. Maybe you know how it goes. You lay something somewhere and say "I'll put it right here so I remember where it is" and then later you can't find it. The main character would think she's losing her mind, but it's actually her cats taking whatever it is to play with and then hiding it. If any interesting mysteries happen, I'll update my response.
