Other than the last line in your intro, why Scotland? My "ancients" we're from the Isles.

My first books were set in England, since that's where my favorite King Arthur stories happened. But when I started dating a Campbell, I grew interested in Scotland. Once I visited, I fell in love with the landscape and the people. Some of my "ancients" are from Wales. I plan to write a story set there someday!
