How do you get your ideas for locations and characters?

Glynnis Campbell I start with a lot of "what if" questions when I create stories. The characters honestly just pop into my head, and I eventually cast them with actors who fit what I imagine. As for locations, I use areas I've visited, although I sometimes invent towns. I love to vary between seaside and forest, summer glens and snowy mountains.
