Your novels that I have read that are set in what is now the U.K. are all set before the reformation. Is there a reason why you have focused them during this time period?

I think it's important to write what you love. I've had a lifelong fascination--probably from reading fairy tales and King Arthur when I was young--with medieval times. I love the woods of England, the castles of Wales, and the wild landscape of Scotland.
