What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?

Amy Difar Ooh, interesting question, thank you. You reminded me of something that happened many years ago when I was a young newlywed. One day I started receiving phone calls from a distraught woman, who claimed that my husband was the father of her child. She called for several days and then a man claiming to be her father started calling. My husband vehemently denied that it was true and I trusted him wholeheartedly. Eventually, the calls stopped. I'll never know what really happened. Perhaps it was a scam. Or it could have been a case of mistaken identity. And of course, I must admit to the slim possibility that she was telling the truth (although I doubt it). At any rate, my first husband passed away many years ago, so I'll never know, but the whole scenario certainly raises many plot possibilities.
