Running is my inspiration zone. After the first mile my mind opens up and I daydream about my characters. I'll sometimes map out scenes too. Around the fifth mile I tend to refocus on the physical exertion because my body demands it. But those 4 miles after mile 1 and before mile 5 are extremely fertile.
