Hmmm... My immediate answer to this is Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald. But, of course, they're real people. However, their relationship has been written about both directly and indirectly through Scott's novels, so much that in a way, it's become fictional. So I'm sticking with that answer despite the fact that technically, it's not answering the question.
A real fictional couple I truly enjoyed was in Pete Hamill's FOREVER. The protagonist has many relationships because of his unnaturally long life, but when Cormac settles in with the lower Manhattan Madam in the early 1800's, if I'm remembering right, her affection offers him an unusual peace that I believe is universally desired but seldom obtained.

I get mad a people, usually my husband. After he's unsuccessfully tried to convince me that it's not his fault, I break a few dishes, curse at my failure as a human being, then go for a run. After mile 1 things are back on track. On my way home I buy some flowers for the hubby and replacement dishes.

Writing. For me, the act of writing is so fantastically fun. I love hanging out in that space between my head and the keyboard. It's deliciously addictive.

I try not to aspire to anything. I just do it. So, taken at face value, my answer to this question is, don't aspire, write. But if the question means to ask, what is my advice for someone to make a living as a writer, I don't so I've not yet received my license to dispense advise on that subject. Stay tuned.

A literary trilogy that spans 7 decades beginning in 1950. It's going to be a slice of life, Americana classic.

The overall theme is based on a play I wrote 15 years ago. The actual story and the characters are a total mashup of my family, families I've known, and a few crazy circumstances I wish I'd been in.

Running is my inspiration zone. After the first mile my mind opens up and I daydream about my characters. I'll sometimes map out scenes too. Around the fifth mile I tend to refocus on the physical exertion because my body demands it. But those 4 miles after mile 1 and before mile 5 are extremely fertile.
