Jodi Taylor Hi. Thanks for your question. There's two reasons why they mainly stick with Europe and you've partly answered the question yourself. Yes, they would stand out - especially in China, where Europeans weren't always popular. Enough goes wrong normally, without incurring hostile attention as soon as they step out of the pod.
The second reason is that I don't know a great deal about the history of the Far East. Yes, I can sit down and research what I need to know, but I always think there's a great deal of difference between just looking up facts I need to know and actually being familiar with events and all their complex ramifications.
I'm not saying they'll never go to China, or Japan - or even America - but I don't have any plans to send them there just at this moment.
