I'm still not sure where the idea came from. As strange as it sounds, the characters just began to tell me their stories as I wrote. I hope that doesn't make me sound completely loony, but sometimes I don't feel like I created the story, rather that I recorded the story. Other-worldly inspiration, perhaps?
