Hands down my favorite fictional couple is The Notebook's Allie and Noah. Their love is one that endures through tribulations of all variations, and in the end, the worst of all, Allie's loss of her memories. I cried like a baby at the ending of the movie. I'm embarrassed to admit that I don't know whether or not there is a book from which the movie idea came from!
