My 2nd choice was Native Son, but it looks like I'd be alone in that, so no point...

I've read it but don't remember anything I read. Always felt guilty about that! lol
Flowers for Algernon is winning by quite a lot and it deserves it: it's a fabulous story, one of my faves. But I've read it (obviously) and I always vote for something I haven't read.
