I'm voting for Carrie, because everything else up there has too many reviews from people who've wanted to gouge out their own eyeballs...and I've read too much of *that* lately.My 2nd choice was Native Son, but it looks like I'd be alone in that, so no point...

I voted for the Anarchist Cookbook because I own it but I do not suggest voting for this one. All it is, is a manual for doing bad things. This is not a work of fiction or a novel of any sort. It also has a statement on the back that it is illegal to own.It's a waste of money all the information in it can be found on google.

I've read most of the books listed. Interested in An American Tragedy or Native Son
I voted An American Tragedy because it seemed the most interesting. I have already read both Carrie and Native Son. Both wonderful. :)

I voted for Heart of Darkness because I've tried twice to get all the way through this book but haven't been able to yet. The last time I tried was years ago, though, so maybe now I'll like it as much as I've always wanted to.
