Same here; I didn’t like it at all.

Chelsey Keathley-Jones Interesting, looks like it's going to be the winner. This book seems so popular but all of my favorite vloggers also hated it, so im interested to see comments. Deft. post yours in the group if it wins

Me neither. I think also because I don't care for YA anything.

message 7: by Lexi (new)

Lexi That's very interesting that so many people didn't like it. It came highly recommended to me and it has a 4.06 rating out of 5, which is why I nominated it. If it wins, I guess we'll see.

Robin i liked one of us is lying but wouldn't have thought it would be in the same category as either ruth ware book.

Kristie I didn't have One of Us is Lying on my TBR because the title made me think it was an unreliable narrator. However, after reading the blurb, it sounds like The Breakfast Club with a murder mystery. Interesting idea.

It also seems like a book that most people either really liked or really didn't, not too many middle of the road reviews for this one.

message 10: by Diane Withrow (new)

Diane Withrow I have been in several physical book clubs and I NEVER nominate a book I have read as I have already read it. In that way I am not offended if no one likes it as it was not a favorite. That said, I have read every Ruth Ware but Turn so I voted for it as it will spur me to get onto it sooner. I do not necessarily agree with others views as I do not expect others to agree with mine regarding favorites. We all come to books with different expectations yes? I find an old favorite that I once found silly I reread and now find rather blue. Funny that. It really is what we bring to a book. Anyway. Rambling to avoid my actual job.
