I really can't pick just one, to be honest. So I will name the ones I love in the order in which they appear above: Dickinson, Tennyson, Frost, Millay, Shelley, and Shakespeare. Oh, and I think that Keats and Plath should have been included in the poll list. The ones here are GREAT, though, Autumn!! : )

Oh, and I think tha..."Thanks Mari for voting. Its been very hard for me also and I have changed my vote 3 times. You can add Plath! Her poems usually depress me but I will add her for you since you may not know how to do it.
Why is Jim Morrison on this list? Perhaps replace him with, I don't know, Anne Sexton? Just a thought.
Poliana wrote: "Why is Jim Morrison on this list? Perhaps replace him with, I don't know, Anne Sexton? Just a thought."Songwriters are also poets. Many songs are just pure poetry.
Kat wrote: "That's like asking me to pick a favorite star in the heavens!"Sirius which I think is the dog star.
There are two entries each for Pushkin and Frost. Keats too but the second entry has another poet attached so it doesn't count as a duplicate option, I suppose.
simply could not choose between Baudelaire, Sexton, Dickinson, Millay, and Eliot...though for now Baudelaire it is
I love Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Bob Dylan, Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Edgar Allen Poe, and William Shakespeare.
I read randomly picks for each so I can't honestly choose one but my favourites are many if we are talking about Arabian poets!!!!Farouq Guwaidah
Gibran Kahlil Gibran
Nizar Qabbani
Mahmoud Darwish
Abd-El-Rahman Al-Abnudi ....ohhh!so much many ♥️✨
Asher wrote: "I don't read poetry sadly but I did research on Edgar Allen Poe so I might read some from him."My best friend in the 4th grade loved The Raven so when I had to memorize poetry I chose it for my 100 lines. She really got me into reading Poe.
Samala (Elvis's Version) wrote: "Definitely Walt Whitman or Víctor Hugo, I do enjoy Edgar Allan Poe and William Shakespeare though"Thanks for voting.
Darcy wrote: "My favorite poets are all spanish language writers. Pizarnik, Storni, Neruda, and Darío."You can write them in!
I really can’t pick a favorite. My love of poetry came the first time I read Sonnets from the Portuguese by Elizabeth Barrett Browning which I’ve read more than once.I also enjoy Emily Dickinson, William Shakespeare, William ShakespeareEdgar Allan Poe and Robert Browning.
Picking just one is hard. My favorite changes with my mood. I went with the one I have on my bedside table currently.
