honestly, id rather read anything besides holiday/christmas books so if there are any other options to vote for I'm all open. I'm new to this so I don't really know how it works but I just had to add that little comment for what it's worth, and please take no offense, that wasn't my intent at all.

Hi Jordan - Every month we have members nominate and vote on themes or genres for the BOTM. Then, the theme with the highest vote is our theme of the month, so people get to nominate books that fit the theme and books in a general nomination as well. This month our members voted for holiday-themed and these are the books they nominated. The nomination and voting process is open to all members. If you weren't able to join us this month, keep your eye out for it to join next time.
Just so everyone is aware, we have a general schedule so that every week you can nominate or vote for something. The general schedule is as follows: Around the 15th of the month: The BOTMs for the following month are announced and a nomination thread is opened to nominate themes / genres for the next month.
The 23rd: the poll is posted for people to vote on the theme they would like.
The 1st of the month: BOTM are posted for the current month and two nomination threads are opened - one for the themed nominations and one for the general nominations.
The 7th: The polls open and people can vote for the themed book and the general book that they would like to read the following month.
Which brings us back to the 15th again. These dates are not exact because occasionally real life gets in the way of posting threads or polls, but usually we are able to post them within a day or so of the dates listed. I'll post this in the news and updates folder as well, so that people can have it for future reference.

oic, like I said I'm new to this and just joined a couple days ago and didn't really know how this worked so thanks for filling me in! :)
