Respecting the conditions under which someone else made their work available was simply the right thing to do. What’s more, if we hadn’t honored Konqueror’s license terms, we could have exposed Apple to legal action. I didn’t want to obsess over licenses, but I thought it important to invest some time and careful thought to ensure we had the technical and legal bases covered.
