Marvelous (The Books of Marvella, #1)
by
"This is a wonderful story about a young man with a troubled home life meeting a very interesting young woman with secrets, and how their friendship develops amid normal teen difficulties, not-so-normal issues and the underlying mystery of two possibly-related murders. Very well written and engaging."

A Time to Die (Out of Time, #1)
by
"This is a great dystopian novel with the premise of a land where everyone has a clock they keep with them that tells exactly how long they will live. The main character's clock will supposedly run out in a year, and there are many questions she has about her world, her life's purpose, and what, exactly, is out there beyond The Wall ...? Very well-written, suspenseful, engaging. Hard to put down -- and I can't wait for the sequel!"
