For those interested, a number of us on that list have essays in a book coming out this December. It's FIC: Why Fanfiction Is Taking Over the World, edited by Anne Jamison.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it more when it comes out. It was actually on my To Read list, I'm excited to learn a little more about it.
