Why does most of it not have a five-star rating? Because most of the science fiction I've read doesn't get five stars from me (I don't give them out very generously.).Stranger in a Strange Land is an interesting novel, but I much prefer Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Haven't read either Glory Road or Starship Troopers.
I'm not sure how old is a classic. One that has gone down from one generation of readers to another?

An interesting very short list. Several things have come to mind looking at it.
How old does a book have to be to be classed a classic?
You've only found one book that you'd rate with 5 stars? I have several. 'Ender's Game' & 'Speaker for the Dead' & 'Dune' & 'Stand On Zanzibar' & 'Dragonflight' & 'Ringworld' & 'The Riddle Master of Hed' among others.
Why such a short list? And why three Asimov and two Heinlein on a list only nine long?
I do like that you list 'The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress'
ahead of 'Stranger...'. I'd also list 'Glory Road' & 'Starship Troopers' ahead of it.
Peace,
