Is Long Story Short: 100 Classic Books in Three Panels a book for children? From the summaries I read, it sounds like a book for adults, and the Caldecott Award is for books aimed at children.
A Forest in the City is not eligible for a Caldecott as both the author and illustrator live in Canada.
Beverly wrote: "Is The Lonely Heart of Maybelle Lane illustrated? It is a middle grade book of 288 pages."There are no illustrations in the book. I think it should be removed from this list (although it is a good book so far)...
My Day with the Panye by Tami Charles (which is on the list as "A Day with the Panye") will be published next year, in March 2021.
Marjory Saves the Everglades: The Story of Marjory Stoneman Douglas is not eligible. The illustrator, Rebecca Gibbon, lives in England, even though the book is about the Everglades in the USA.
Our Little Kitchen by Jillian Tamaki is not eligible, because Tamaki lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
