I'll try to do this for 2019. I think it's that I'm so much older than 35 I'm not sure I'm a good fit for these lists.

Susanna, Great to know. I’d also love an over 60 or at least over 50 list. If I was more active here I might start one. As it is I’m grateful for this one.

An 'over 50' list would be nice 😉

Thanks, Susanna!

Yes I think they have. I remember you re-starting this one for us a few years ago. I forget why their particular criteria was over 35...it will just be interesting to see if those over 50 favour one or the other. I'm over 35 but not yet there in the over 50 bracket, so no biggie for me. I'm just interested in stats hehe!

Thanks!

I don't get a notification (except from other voters who notice it, like Pat did), but it's more common than you might think on Listopias, and the signs just jump out at you at a certain point.

Let me add that this is a terrific way to convince me to never read this book, and I read historical fiction. If I were the author, I'd try to discourage this spamming.

Agreed!

They are nothing if not persistent...

I hate fanboy spamming.

Maybe.....it's an idea for the creator of a list to remove the book and contact the legitimate voter(s) to let her/him know the book has been removed and why? Provided the creator is a librarian of course. Because there must be something we can do about spamming lists...

Note the Tim Butcher books at the top.

Have you contacted the author about it? I've done that before. They were horrified that people were doing it. Not always the case tho - some authors are just so shit obviously if they have to have spamming teams...
