Yes, it really does. And I'm really not including it in next year's "last year's most read books were" because it really isn't.ETA: Yes, it is shameful, Johan.
Susanna, do you want to remove it? Your list very clearly states "spam will be deleted if detected." If there is one legitimate voter, he can add it back.
Susanna - Censored by GoodReads wrote: "I'll remove it if it's OK with Matt, who was the legitimate vote."I'd remove it anyway, as Matt's profile data is set to private, so you can't message him to let him know the book has been removed. Kate, by the way, seems to be a legitimate voter as well.
Seems the lists are already having the same problems as they had at the end of last year: I voted for three books and none of them are there when I looked today, so I added them again. Also, I created two list and neither of them are there :-(
The Listopia are alright (you're right about the bot) since I've put a book on them. The books I've added to this list finally 'stuck'. It 'only' took me three times :-)
Removed Syrian Brides. Promotional spam added to multiple lists for multiple years by the same group of people claiming to have been born in different decades.
Caught another one! Removed Finding Identity. Being added by the same group of people to different lists, claiming to be different ages.
