Jess enjoys reading and writing dark fiction and thoughtful prose.

She also takes great delight in exploring the essay, flash fiction, and poetry genres.

Her debut chapbook about heartbreak, let it rip , was published in late summer 2023 via Bottlecap Press.

A Musepaper.org essay prize winner, her poems, flash fiction, and essays have appeared in or are forthcoming in 34th Parallel Magazine, The Five-Two, and Whale Road Review. Her genre work has appeared in Mystery Tribune and Black Hare Press anthologies.

Her hobbies include yoga, sketching, astrology, and slowly overcoming her occasional speech anxiety through microcasting.

Day 25 — JetPens Mini Hauls

Today’s topic is a fun one: my tiny JetPens hauls.

Last year my sister wanted something from JetPens (a pencil holder). Since we were already placing an order, I browsed around to hit the free shipping threshold.

I ended up picking a few pens and watercolor markers to try, and it turned into a surprisingly delightful mini‑experiment.
