Jonathan Furneaux (pronounced: “fur-no”) is a science fiction and fantasy author from Brisbane, Australia. In the second grade, his teacher let him write novels in the back of his mathematics exercise book, instead of learning his times tables. As a result, he developed a joy of writing and literature, as well as an awkward pause before having to do any kind of counting.

Jonathan was awarded a High Commendation by the Fellowship of Australian Writers (QLD) for his first published short story: The Second Father. His writing usually explores the themes of power, love, technology, and spirituality.

Lessons from the Void Released!

Lessons from the Void has just launched on Kindle eBook (other platforms and the paperback are coming shortly).

I think this novel turned out even better than I'd hoped it would. As I finished the first draft, I realised that the ending of this book needed to be expanded upon into its own separate novel, in order to do the story justice.

So now I have lots of ideas for the third installment! Read more of this blog post »
