What Members Thought
I don’t really know what to say. This has some horrifically gory content in it. And it is really confusing for a number of pages. However, all of a sudden, things start coming together. The plot is actually brilliant. I don’t know if I ever want to read it again, though. It’s a dilemma, to be sure.

Do not listen to this on audio. Just don't. There is too much going on and you will miss things, no matter how hard you try.
I started out not understanding what was happening. It was hard to continue on in parts because the book doesn't really give you a proper setup. I'm clearly not alone in this, as the reviews are filled with "DNFs" and "Abandoned" and "I hated this book because it was frustrating and didn't make sense." I have never read a more odd story but I have also never had a book capture my interest the whole way thru like this one did. I had no idea where it was going but couldnt wait to find out. I know it is gory but if you can get past that a very interesting book to read. I also enjoyed the narrator. She did a fantastic job with her different voices. She was Caroline to me.
