Dec 2020 update:

Going back and rereading this after being caught up in the series is such a different feeling, catching the hints and reading between the lines. Knowing the characters and the why. An insider rather then an outsider.

Also I never realized that this reread was almost 5 years later.

I really enjoyed "A Court of Thorns and Roses".. Some parts dragged a little, and I skimmed a few paragraphs every now and then, but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of the book. ...more

A Court of Thorns and Roses is a well known YA fantasy novel sometimes categorized as romance. As the 85,388th person to review this novel (and 1,038,966th person to rate it), there’s not much that hasn’t already been said.

I tried to read this for 2 weeks and it never took off for me. Pretty disappointing because I really wanted to rave with everyone else. Maybe another time...
