A perfect summer book, a fun weekend read that, like all Alice Hoffman books left me deeply satisfied. Two sisters, two daughters, two aunts, and a bit of family magic.

I felt the need to read about the Owens family in chronological order. So, I finally got to book #3 the day before Halloween and finished it on the ween. I was, however, worried I'd be basically reading a script from the movie. Very glad to say it was about <25% of the movie with the majority being a new story for me.

Sally was part of the story, yes, but there was a larger focus on her kids discovering who they were as people (not necessarily their magical abilities). They were teens in the book
