The book that started it all.
A hobbits tale; there and back again.
I find myself journey back to this book and taking something different away each time.

I find myself journey back to this book and taking something different away each time.
It was fun to go back and re-read this novel, especially after seeing the movie. It's such a short book and I can't believe how many extra action scenes the films have added that were not in the novel. They seriously turned the one book into a trilogy of films. Still, it's a wonderful story and I'm looking forward to reading The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well :-)

Just reread this for the first time in 10 years. Not ashamed to say the ending made me cry. Such a wonderful wonderful story.
